ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS

Call for Abstracts

Participants wishing to make a presentation in the technical session (poster session) are cordially invited to submit an abstract in English via online no later than February 28, 2022.
Accepted abstracts will appear in the online abstracts to be published during the Congress.
Accepted authors are required to submit their poster in English (e.g. 1 powerpoint slide without sound) in mid-July 2022. The posters will be viewed at an virtual event platform.

Instructions:

  1. The presenting author’s name, institution, address, telephone number, and e-mail address must be provided.
  2. An abstract itself (not including the title, authors’ information) should be 200 ~ 300 words. Do not include any figures or tables.
  3. Abstracts MUST contain the following:
    • Objectives — state the rationale or hypothesis followed by objectives.
    • Materials & Methods — briefly discuss the design of the study / program and how it was conducted.
    • Results — present the main results with appropriate statistics / data analysis.
    • Conclusion — state the conclusions drawn from the results.
  4. Choose one session topic which most suitable for your presentation.
  5. List 3 ~ 5 keywords.

Important Notes:

  • - A person could be presenting author for a maximum of one abstract.
  • - Poster Submission
    The presenting authors are required to submit their poster in English (e.g. 1 powerpoint slide without sound) in mid-July 2022.
    A poster template (in powerpoint format) will be provided along with the acceptance notification by the Program Office.

  • - Poster Viewing
    Poster sessions will be held by using an interactive virtual event platform.
    No poster will be displayed at the onsite venue.
    Congress participants can view the posters above on the virtual platform.
    There is NO opportunities of the oral presentation by poster presenters (presenting authors).
    Both poster presenters and congress participants are required to bring their own device (laptop, tablet or smartphone, etc.) that can connect to the free WiFi at the congress venue.
    Please note that NO device rental service will be prepared.
  • - Discussion
    All presenting authors are required to come to the congress venue in Yokohama on the date and time designated by ACD 2022 committee.
    They can discuss with congress participants in either way; face-to-face with onsite participants or remotely by video calling with online participants.
    Also, a multilingual translation tool will be available for communications (voice or chat) by native languages.
    *Presenting author: ONSITE participation is required.
    *Co-author or Congress participant: Online participation is acceptable.

    *Actual display will be available in English.
  • - The Excellent Poster Award will be selected from the poster presentations.
    Young investigators are encouraged to apply for the award.

Confirm or Modify

The presenting authors may confirm or replace their abstract on-line at any time up until the submission deadline, using the Login ID and Password that will be automatically generated and emailed to them once the submission process is complete. If someone does not receive email confirmation within 24 hours, please contact the Program Office below.

Review

The submitted abstract will be reviewed in order to ensure the highest technical quality of the congress.

Notification of Acceptance: April 19, 2022

Authors will receive notification of acceptance or rejection by e-mail on or before April 19, 2022.

Presenting Author’s Registration: May 31, 2022

A presenting author must be registered in the Congress by May 31, 2022. Otherwise, the abstracts may be withdrawn.
